A theatre historian by background, Caroline spent 15 years as an academic publisher creating first microfilm then digital collections of primary source materials from libraries and archives around the world.

 

In 2006, Caroline moved to The National Archives, where she is responsible for mass digitisation, runs the Licensed Internet Associateships and book co-publishing programmes and has acted as consultant to over 70 different organisations on digitisation and commercial partnerships. She has spoken at many international conferences and leads the International Council of Archives’ Business Development Group.
