Ashley Bass is a Senior Product Manager at Serials Solutions and is responsible for the product lifecycle of several e-resource management and assessment services for library collection management. Ashley works with many libraries around the world, providing technical information, workflow consultation and product information. She is a recognized subject matter expert in the area of ERM and frequently speaks at industry conferences covering a range of related topics, such as assessment, usage analysis and integrated services to streamline workflows. In addition, Ashley manages the company’s Management ListServ and is becoming more involved with industry organizations.

Ashley joined the company in 2006 as an Account Executive, and developed a deep understanding of the challenges facing academic libraries. A contributing factor to her success was the ability to prepare and deliver presentations for multiple levels of staff, administration and IT professionals.  This experience was springboard to her next role as a Sales Engineer. In addition to proving technical knowledge and her consultative approach with libraries considering management and discovery solutions, Ashley served as an information conduit to sales and product management. This experience fosters fundamental understanding of the complexities of library management and discovery, as well as benefits of integrated solutions – in essence, the cumulative effect of the Serials Solutions portfolio or services.

Prior to Serials Solutions, Ashley held positions in the publishing industry and was responsible for operations and technical solutions for a small publishing company. In addition to being a published author, Ashley is certified in Pragmatic Marketing.

Ashley received her B.A. in English from the University of Texas at Austin.
