Karen joined SAGE Publishing in 1984 and has held several roles in marketing and editorial in over 30 years. Karen became Editorial Director in 2010, leading SAGE’s UK books, journals and online product teams. Karen became Senior Vice President of Global Learning Resources in June 2016, consolidating her position as SAGE’s global strategic lead for new digital resources for learning in Higher Education. Karen has been the architect of SAGE’s innovative strand of digital products for the global academic library market. She has worked the strategy that delivered exciting new digital products such as SAGE Research Methods, SAGE Knowledge, SAGE Video and also led to the acquisition in 2012 of Adam Matthew, a digital archive publisher much loved by the global library community and academics alike. Through these new library products, Karen has been central to the creation of a new class of digital publishing at SAGE.
